Dustin Hamlett is an agent at K.B. Hamlett Insurance at the Roxboro Office. He is the son of the agency owner, Kimberly Hamlett, who is not only his mom but mentor. He has been in the insurance industry for over 14 years now. Dustin is married to Casey Hamlett, who also works with us in the Yanceyville Office, and they have 3 children: Jackson (8), Lilly-Ann (7), and Leah-Katherine (19 months). He enjoys volunteering at his local fire department where he serves as the Asst. Chief and is a founding member of Caswell County’s first rescue team that specializes in water rescue, farm accidents, and vehicle extrication. He was instrumental in getting ISO to reevaluate and lower our PC class ratings for the entire county. He also teaches fire classes for PCC to help volunteer firefighters get their certifications.
Dustin wants to be able to help people whether he’s volunteering or at the office. He is comfortable writing personal lines, farm owners, and commercial lines and he tries to help educate his clients during the process to help them understand better what they need or why they must go through a certain process. Dustin is also a very creative person that is mechanically inclined and is a great cook. He enjoys making different crafts and projects with his children and sells them locally. He also enjoys being outdoors and sharing his knowledge and experience with his family by going camping & hunting. Dustin was honored to be the 2022 Agent of the Year for Carolina Farmer’s Mutual Insurance and said he’s looking forward to what the future has in store for his family and their clients.
