Susan Brooks was born and raised in Roxboro, NC and is a part-time employee at the Roxboro Office. Susan met her husband when they were teenagers and they dated for 8 years before getting married in 1989. She is the proud mama to Scott (31) and his wife Olivia, Daniel (25) and grandma to her sweet grandson Callahan (11 months). She has worked since she was 13 starting in an ice cream shop, then a shoe store. Her first full-time job was inspecting parachutes until they closed when she was 18.
She has 12 years previous insurance experience with Peoples Security Life Insurance Co. She received a certificate for Insurance Fundamentals, passed the Insurance Law course and the Customer Service Representative course. I began at an entry level position and worked my way up to Senior Customer Service Representative before quitting and becoming a stay-at-home mom for two years. She spent time working various jobs at the Christian school that her boys went to and after 17 years there she left as the office manager. She has worked in an Accountant’s office, and she enjoyed the work but then moved on to start with us when the owner retired. She earned her P&C license in September of 2022.
